EXPECTED BEHAVIORS FOR THE BUS

The bus is an extension of the school.  All school rules apply to the bus ride.

LISTEN to the Bus Driver.

WALK to and from the bus stop. Avoid walking in the "Danger Zone" (i.e. the ten-foot area around the bus). When waiting for the bus, stand back three steps from the street.

TALK appropriately. Use appropriate language and your "indoor voice."

RESPECT the other riders. Keep your hands and feet to yourself while on the bus and when waiting to board the bus. Also, for your safety, keep your hands and feet inside of the bus.

RESPONSIBILITY Take care of your bus seat and your materials. Keep book bags, coats, etc. out of the bus aisle. Avoid bringing animals, glass containers, or anything dangerous on the bus.

STAY SEATED at all times. Remain seated facing front, while the bus is moving.
