Spring Cove School District

  • School Climate Surveys

SCSD recently received a Safe Schools Grant. Through this grant, we have been able to purchase additional security items and have hired a School Police Officer.  As a requirement of this grant, we are asking students, parents, and community members to participate in a school climate survey.  Students will be guided through this survey in school.  If you are a community member or parent, please take a few minutes to access the survey below.  Thank you for your input!

  • Arrival Reminder:

If you drop your child off at school in the mornings, please be mindful of the flow of traffic.  As students are dropped off, please be sure to pull as far forward as possible along the curb.  Once your child exits the vehicle, please feel free to pull away from the curb.  This keeps traffic moving and minimizes the risk of other drivers trying to pass...which is a safety concern.  Thank you for your cooperation!

MES is one of two elementary buildings located in the Spring Cove School District.  We educate students in grades 3, 4, and 5 and are located in Blair County.  We are a part of a rural community.  Teachers and staff at MES are proud of our school district and long to make a positive difference in our students' lives.
Parents, teachers, and community members hold a huge responsibility...to raise our children and support them as they work to reach their greatest potential.  The faculty and staff at Martinsburg Elementary reach for the stars.  We constantly strive to provide the best education possible to our students.  Together, we can make a difference!
"Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children." ~Charles R. Swindoll
